Maynard, I was just referring to the churches in the Ogeechee, Captola, and Rocky Ford area being predominantlly Baptist. On the other side of the county and down the Savannah river, there are some Methodist Churches; for instance, my church which is Buck Creek Methodist Church. There's also the First Methodist Church in Sylvania. You know, now that you mention it, there are not a lot of Methodist churches in Screven County, but MANY Baptist and Primitive Baptist Churches. This is sort of curious, as I know that the Bazemores were Methodist from very early on, and my Scotts became Methodists through this connection. I would like to hear more about this.
