Barb, There was a byline labelled "Hillis, Ga." in the newspaper, TRUE CITIZEN, which is a newspaper still in existence today in Waynesboro, Burke County, Georgia. From talking to a cousin, Louise Oglesbee Chandler, she lives on the old Hillis Farm which belonged to her great-grandparents, Mary Elizabeth Hillis and William R. Oglesbee. This farm is a little east of Millhaven Road, and is almost on the Screven County Line. It is also near Bethlehem Church, where most of the old Hillises are buried. Hope that this helps.
