    3. Hi Richard. This is what is said in "Early Deaths..." Savannah, February 28. The Augusta paper of the 16th instant says , "We hear from Greene county, that, on Saturday the 2d instant, the Indians killed CAPT. AUTRY, near Richland Creek. (GSG 2/28/1788, 3:2) That was the only listing for AUTRY. So I guess you'll have to look at the Gazette of the State of Georgia.
