Hollingsworth, Sr.'s History of Screven county, page 129, records that Sameul H. Buxton's wife did soon after the birth of the last named child, and he married Josephine Dixon, daughter of ROBERT J. AND ROSANNAH (HURST) DIXON. Can someone idenify this Rosannah Hurst Dixon?? Was she the daughter of John Hurst? Of Burke county. We have her listed but have no spouse for her.
