    3. Hi Nancy, I noticed the following: "The Republican & Savannah Evening Ledger" "On Thursday the 14th ult., by Rev. McCall, at the plantation of Mr. James Platt, Mr. Zachariah CORSEY to Miss Elizabeth CASWELL, both of Screven County, Oct. 3rd, 1809. Wouldn't that name actually be CARSWELL. There have been lots of Carswells in neighboring Burke Co. Given all of the apparent misspellings in the rest of the newspaper entries, then this would seem another likely misspelling. Just a suggestion of what / where to look.
