    3. Hi Charlotte. I found this listing for 1860 Marion County Census on Young. Is this your Martha? YOUNG, Emma R. age 3 place born GA Frances A.P. 12 " Martha A. 10 " Sarah C. 5 " Seaborn M. 9 " Susan M. 33 " Thomas N. 14 " W. B. 44 " William J. 17 " The reason I was looking in Marion County, GA (county seat Buena Vista, GA) was because my Henderson line, Wm. Michael Henderson, married, in 1865, (Cynthia) Anne Brown in Marion County, GA. And her brother, Dr. James Franklin Brown, had married Wm. Michael Henderson's sister, who lived in Screven County, GA, along with the other Henderson family. Wm. Michael's sister was named 'Anne Elizabeth' Henderson, and she married Dr. Brown in 1855 in Screven County, GA. And there is, in 1850, a "Young", as well as Henderson and Brown, on the Marion Co., GA census, but I don't know the first name yet. It seems that Marion County, GA was settled in the late 1820's and early 1830's and later by many "well off middle Georgia" families, and my mother remembers my great grandmother, Annie Laurie Henderson Farr, along with her sisters Lottie Henderson and Mary Henderson Overstreet going to Buena Vista and Albany and Thomasville, GA to get beautiful camelia bushes to transplant or make cuttings from for their garden near Cameron, Screven County, GA! So how did they all meet each other in the first place...prior to 1855 when Ann Elizabeth Henderson married Dr. James Franklin Brown? Were they all in Screven and Bulloch Counties to start?
