Charles Lyon Schlatter, 1810-1888, from Brunswick. He was the founder of Brunswick & Albany RR. He also was in charge of the Savannah to Brunswick route. He was born in Penn. and he and his wife are buried in Oat Court Cem in Brunswick. His daughter, Mary Lee Schlatter married Alfred Joseph Crovatt, who was 3x Mayor of Brunswick and a bankruptcy judge. This family has connections to Troup, Nightingale and the duBignon families of this area. The Crovatt family is from Charleston, SC. I am interested in any information on these two families. I am also interested in finding a site that has RR history of this area. Thanks Robin Evans
