Linda, if you strike any gold on that one would you please share it. My great-grandfather John M. Poythress served in that company. I have his complete service record (available at Ga. Archives). I also have hard copy of something of a "canned and generic" 4 pager on the 47th. It was a minor scam and lists only battles the 47th was "suspected" to have fought in. My guess is all the guy did was follow the route of the Army of Tennessee and type it up.. However if you think it might be helpful I'll be happy to scan you off a copy and put it in snailmail if you'll send me address. And yes, I'm scrambled in with all the Bazemores too :).....not 100% sure they claim us though.:) Best, John M. Poythress
