    1. RE: [GASCREVE] LIST
    2. I don't know how my folks tie into yours, but I am also researching Joyner/Joiner and Roberts in Screven County. My earliest Roberts was Merincy "Rintha" Roberts, born about 1809. Married Archibald Smith (ca. 1802-1860) in Screven Co. on 15 Mar 1827, died in Dec. 1879 in the 35 GMD of Screven County. I have no idea who her parents were or how she ties into any of the other Roberts in Screven County. I had thought at one time that she might be the daughter of Martha "Patsy" Rhodes, who had been a Roberts before she married David Rhodes, I think in 1823. This Patsy Rhodes had a son named Bryant Roberts who moved to Lowndes County before the 1850 census. Joyner - I descend from James Joyner, born 1806 - died 1892. He married Elizabeth Jenkins. They had a large family to include: John, Joshua, Dilly, Owen, Jimpsey, Miles (my ancestor), Johnson and some others. A few of the boys are buried at Hurst Baptist Church around Hilltonia. My Miles married Jane Delina Hendrix in about 1873, and wound up in Bulloch County. I also am reserching the Roberts family in GA from late 1700's to the present. My oldest Roberts that I am aware of is Eli Roberts (1798-about 1870's) married Delania Kent (1810-about 1850). Their son was Daniel W. (Webster) Roberts (1846-1909) married Cassanne Hall (1851-1925). I am trying to find out who Eli's parents were and where they came from.
