Lewis, Most of the Ushers of Screven County are buried from North Newington Church Cemetery to Jackson Baptist Church Cemetery going back towards Jacksonboro. Also, many of them migrated to Tattnall County near Reidsville in the late 1890s or early 1900s. The ones that married the Scott brothers (sons of Thomas Henry "Tom" Scott) were grandchildren of Lorenzo Dow Usher.
