Gerry, Here's what I know about Solomon KEMP: Solomon KEMP and his wife Margaret were the first KEMP to settle in GA (1762) and lived on Brier Creek. They were from SC and had the following children: Solomon, Jr. Daniel m. Rachel FREEMAN Samuel m. Sarah John Mary m. John FREEMAN, Jr. Abigail m. (1) Malachi MERCER, (2) Isaac ROOKS (my ancestor) Rachel m. John SANDERS In another reference that I have come across, it states that Mary m. John BRYAN, and that an unknown KEMP daughter m.
