My Great Great Grandfather Andrew Jackson Byrd moved his family to Suwannee County Florida about 1855 from Sumter District SC. He was the son of Redden Byrd of Darlington District SC. This is not the Redden Byrd who lived in Dale county Al. The family connects back in NC about 1700. The only reason I know about Redden, is that some Byrd Researchers tried to mesh him my Redden d. 1858 in Darlington District S.C.
