Hi Judy, >From the directions that you give below, I believe that you are pointing to what is described as the Eneck Cemetary which lies on Pryor Road in Screven Co. The "Eneck Cemetary" name appears on both the USGS Kildare Quadrangle topographic and the GA DOT General Highway Map of Screven Co. The "Sand Pond" refers to the large Carolina Bay or natural pond the lies in Effingham Co., lying between Springfield Rd. and the Savannah River. It is only a short distance (1/2 to 3/4 mile) from the Coursey Cemetary that lies at the end of Coursey Cemetary Road (which runs off of Springfield Rd.). And, it also is only a short distance (about two miles) from the location of the Eneck Cemetary located in Screven Co. Have a look at those map images that I sent to you and you'll see the location of Eneck Cemetary and of Sand Pond.
