Hi Cheryl, Go to http://www.microsoft.com and run a search on the term 'terraserver.' That should point you to the service that Microsoft offers (I have it in my bookmarks on my work computer, but I avoid most connections with Microsoft on my home computer). A warning - the Terraserver mapping service is really a hit and miss proposition. They'll offer whole swaths of an area and then skip several miles... It can be a really frustrating experience. An alternative would be to do as I suggested to Jim Blease or to look at the offering in the posting two entries prior to your posting to GASCREVE (www.topozone.com). All sorts of companies and government agencies offer mapping services. Start with one or two such services and branch out to other services. If you have a fairly new computer with a Pentium or better CPU of 120 MHz or greater speed then DeLorme offers a mapping program with USGS data that can be displayed in 3-Dimensional format. That might prove useful in the higher, 'Sand Hills' locales in portions of Screven, Bulloch, Jenkins, Burke and adjacent counties or at the very steep bluffs that front the Savannah River flood plain (you can compare the layout of the computer-generated 3-D map with the actual lay of the land when looking for particular sites perhaps hidden among the woods of an irregular topography). Go to www.delorme.com and have a look at their CD-ROM or DVD-ROM offerings. Also, they have great mapbooks for each state. Be sure to look at the USGS site. Start at www.usgs.gov and look at their map offerings. Go to: http://mapping.usgs.gov/mac/isb/pubs/booklets/usgsmaps/usgsmaps.html ...to read about all of the different types of maps offered by the USGS. This includes satellite and photoimage maps where they are available. I hope that this information has been helpful.
