    3. Hi Nancy, I stopped at the offices of the Sylvania Telephone a week or so back and they had two or three copies available for sale - on the sales shelf in their front office. The cost is $60 plus tax - making it $64.20 - purchased onsite. The version now available is a reprint of the 1989 version. I own a third printing from 1991. Alternatively, you can call Linda Hollingsworth Averett at 912-564-7075 and order the book directly from her. I believe that she charges $60 for the book and something like $6.00 in S&H. She was married to the late Dixon Hollingworth's and has since remarried. I spoke with Linda and she tells me that there are about fifty copies of the last printing remaining for sale. It is a lovely book. For myself there are pictures of two of my great-grandfathers (one with his first wife - my g-grandmother) and two of brothers for one of my grandfathers (and lots of cousins). The first portion of the book contains a general history of Screven Co. Lots of people are described in this section. Those very same folks often don't appear in the family entries. So, the historical section can be quite useful. The cover has a color plate of a train of the Sylvania Central railroad running on a stretch of track. Quite nice and attractive.
