I am looking for more information on: SAMUEL PALMER. b. unkn. married: ANNE BRUNSON dau. of JOHN and MARY BRUNSON. Children: of Samuel and Anne Brunson Palmer: CHARLES PALMER b. 1795 m. MARY BRUNSON sister to ANNE BRUNSON PALMER. TIMOTHY went to TX. I have been verifying research papers by the author of the book: CHARLES and ELIZ. LEE PALMER 1795-1975. I am interested in this particular generation. I do not have dates of birth and death, where they were buried, children, etc. I have been trying to find out more information on Samuel Palmer: birth, death date, where buried, will?, occupation, etc. The only information I have is that his son, Charles, went to court in 1814 and asked for a guardian to be appointed him. I have to assume that is the year that Samuel, his father, died. Samuel married Blanche Butler, a widow of Stephen Butler. She had four children when she married Samuel c. 1800-01. She did have kin in Wilkes County. Some researchers say that she was a Clayton and some say she was a Southwell. Does anyone know about this woman? Any information on this family and especially on Samuel Palmer, Anne Brunson, and Blanche Butler would be appreciated. They were in Screven Co. at the death of Samuel Palmer and had lived there since they came to GA. Some records refer to St. George Parrish, then Effingham and Burke, then Screven. This follows the history of that area as it evolved to the present Screven Co. GA.
