I know that there have been a number of new subscribers to this list in the last couple of months who are keenly interested in Schley county history and primarily enjoy the Ellaville Sun transcriptions. We welcome you. I also know that some of you have very little interest in the genealogical aspect of that history. We do both here on this list and you shall begin seeing a few transcriptions of the Ebenezer Baptist church minutes. Now, unless you have had family that attended that church, you will probably find these somewhat boring. They are as close to the actual recorded minutes as I can make them which means that most times words are spelled phonetically and are difficult to read. Practically no punctuation was used and frequently the whole mess looks like jibberish, but for the genealogist there are often some gems in that jibberish. I tell you all of this because for many of you, the most expedient way to deal with these items (of little or no interest to you) is to press the delete key and get on to something you might enjoy more like the newspapers. Believe me I don't feel offended in the least. Personally, I love the newspapers myself. Harris
