I came across a resource that perhaps some of you researchers on the list may not have visited in a while, and that's the online records at the Georgia State Archives. I was looking through the documents of the oaths of allegiance, enlistments and pay records of the early Georgia State Troops (Civil War) and found a record of great significance to my research. These are very good digital scans of the original documents. There may something here for your research as well. If you haven't looked at this in a while, check it out. http://www.georgiaarchives.org/what_do_we_have/online_records/default.htm Harris
