Garvin, born 1811. He lived in Lexington, SC. I have been unable to find any records of his birth (I'm assuming those records were destroyed during the civil war). I was wondering if you have records of Thomas' children. Was Jacob one of Thomas' sons? The other possibility is that Jacob was one of the Garvins who arrived directly in SC from Ireland.
