I never saw any sign of a Bridget Garrity. How did you connect families? I cannot access your tree unless you send me an invite especially as I only take a subscription for a month in January or February to fill the days during the coldest month of the year. I have 5 children for that family- John abt 1799, Catherine 1805, Owen 1810, George about 1815 and Patrick 1819. Frankly, there should be several others although given child mortality rates..... According to someone research George Garrity, there is a brother Bernard. My husband is descended from Patrick Garrity 1819. We find this family in 1851 with children Margaret, Mary, Patrick and Owen. In the church records, I found baptisms for children born of Catherine Garrity and Francis Richards- they too lived in Peel in Caledon so I think they are connected Halton Peel Branch Newslett Vol VIII Issue 4 Sept 1983 pg 59 Petition of inhabitants of the Township of Caledon, 7th Feb 1833: Pat'k Garity Owen Garity Signees of an 1831 Petition prepared by William Lyon MacKenzie 3 Aug 1831 Patrick Gerity Owen Garity Index of the Tremaine's Map of 1859: Caledon Township Con 1W Lot 8 Garrity Patrick Con 1E Lot 9 Garrity Patrick Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
