Served as musician in Capt. Thomas Anderson's Co.of Georgia Volunteers from 21 Nov. 1814 to 6 may 1815. Enlisted at Franklin Co. GA & was discharged at Fort Hawkins. Md Frances Pool on 6 July 1820 in Hall Co., GA. Resided in 1850 in Pope Co. AR, 1855 in Yell Co., AR. Soldier died 23 July 1876 Logan Co. AR. In her pension application widow stated they had lived in Hall Co. GA 5 yrs, Montgomery Co. TN 1 yr, Stewart Co. TN 17 yrs, & in Mar. 1848 they had moved to Pope Co. AR. In 1878 she had at least 2 living children, Rebecca Griffin & Henry Garrison, described as her 2 oldest children. Frances garrison died 30 Aug. 1879 at Bolesville, Johnson Co., AR. 1850 census Pope Co. AR: Allen Garrison, age 55 b. TN; Frances age 50, b. TN; Zebulon, age 20 b. TN; Allen, age 18 b.TN; Frances, age 15 b. TN; Robert, age 12,b.TN; George, age 10 b. TN; Malinda, age 3/12 b.AR.
