Hi, STacey...My Garrisons were in Baltimore in the early 1700s. My Paul Sr. died there. When his son, Paul Jr. left, he left a wife Elizabeth Frazier who remarried within about ten minutes...and there were childen...two being Shadrach and Job. They held public offices in Baltimore and there are records. They may not have remained but I do not have information of them leaving. I know there are more Garrisons than mine there, but thought I would throw that out in case you trace back to a Shadrach and Job, I have information on their family's arrival in Delaware, 1662. Also there is a book entitled Baltimore Families, but, unfortunately I do not know the author...surely the library in Baltimore has it...perhaps your library could get it through interlibrary loans.
