Hi Marie Glad ot hear from you I am always open to discussions on this and just take your time whenever you would like ot answer I am remiss in scaning the pic of Abner Really need ot get that done and sent to Marti too I am in MO now for a nother week doing some research on who other but "Garrisons" again and have asked my daughter who has a memory that want end to remind me when I get home. I was in TX for two months visiting my boys so missed out on a lot of the discussions. Now on Abner I just visited with the person yesterday who is my cousin who has lived in Douglas Co all his life, Abner being his 3rd gr grandfatherJimmie Garrison is 80 years old and a doll. He grew up here as did his father and his grandfather and grgrandfather died here in Doug Co. :::::::: Jimmie Garrison b. 1924> Floyd Garrison 1898 b. marr and d. Doug. Co MO> Joseph Marshall Garrison 1875 b. Barry Co MO Marr in Douglas Co MO d. in Douglas Co MO marr his first cousin Almeda Darkus Garrison> James Floyd Garrison b. 1846 AR marr in Leclede Co MO and d. in Doug. Co. MO > Abner William Garrison b. 1814 marr 1834 in Washington Co MO ordained 1851 Randolph Co AR d. in MO became blind after the war > David Garrison 1785 Grayson Co VA d. 1887 in Barry Co MO his father our old Issac 1732 Issac father Issac also 1705 The pic came out of his old trunk as did Abner brothers and their wives all marked on the back in older handwriting Both of Abner brothers are my 3rd grgrandfathers as the daughter of John and the son Joseph marr They were first cousins So we have three representatives of these lines here We are not just speaking of cold hard facts but also living descendants from the same area as lived. Marie Garrison also did extensive research of these lines and is now gone but I have all her research to add to mine which I have been trying research this line since 1973 Also Jimmie had Abners old bible which I have coies of When I get home I will scan to you Abner pic That is why it seems to me there is quite a mixup on the Abners being spoke of?? I am the one that is updating the Garrison book on David's line and some of his sisters so have been watching this discussion closely and if there is any questions would like to TRY to help straighten it up and listen to everyone elses discussions and ideas so that we may have everything right in this update. Please feel free ot send me any info you would like and I will get out a table and lay it all out and be glad to look it over before I finish up this line and also feel free to send me collateral lines or information on your ancestors that might connect into this line or the rest of Issac 1732 children as I can get it to the correct people that are working on them.
