Marti: The Sheridan and Poole families are related to the Garrisons through Jedidiah and his children. I believe that some of the Pooles originally spelled their namePettypool/Pettipool/Pettipoole, etc. and may have originally been in North and South Carolina about the same time as Jedidiah and his clan. I'm at work now so don't have my info with me but would be happy to share what I have with you. It would be interesting to know if there is a connection to the 2 Poole families.
