Mariann, Was the Colville Reservation named for anyone in particular? I ask because there were many Coles in the same area of NJ and NY as the Garrisons. Nancy PS--I have Native American heritage myself and it is very difficult to pinpoint who my Sarah was ---not a Garrison that I know of.
