It is my understanding they come from Augusta County, so this may not be the same person/family. My Charles C. Garrison is the son of Jacob Silor Garrison, Sr. who was born 30 Jul 1831, Augusta, VA, died 17 May 1908 and married Rebecca Fix. She was born 1 Dec 1835, died 23 Apr 1900.
