Carlene: Thanks for your reply. My Eliza J.(Liza) Garrison married Gallant"Dock" Tucker in Smith Co.,TN on 13 Oct 1864. She was never married to anyone else after he died in 1910 according to documents found in his/her 121 legal page file for Civil War Pensions. I doubt she ever traveled out of the area. They only had one daughter who married at 14, bore 11 chldren and lived to be 84. We "lost" her after 1910 but found her in the LA,CA 1930 Census with 2nd husband and three older children who came by the way of IN. I think our families went more than we realize. When Eliza's death certificate showed up on line with Calvin for her father and Rebecca Malone for a mother and Rebecca appears in the 1900 Census as mother-in-law living next door to Eliza with her granddaughter, Mary Jane Tucker Medley that gives one a red flag on what is in their files. Have found several Calvin's but none with a daughter Eliza J(ane) born 8 Sept 1846.
