I wondered if anyone on this list might be researching the Garrison family. It sounded like it would be of interest to many, as he probably performed many marriages during that time period. Rev. David Garrison, a superannuated Minister of the Georgia Conference, died at his home in Franklin County, Georgia, on 7 April 1842 in the 66th year of his age. The subject of this memoir was born in Orange County, North Carolina, on the 17th day of February 1777. Both his father and mother were members of the Methodist church. His parents having moved to Greenville District, South Carolina when he was about 11 years old, about 1787. In January 1804 he moved to Franklin County, Georgia. Submitted by W. J.
