Always good to add another cousin to the tree. I'll email you but wanted to respond to the question about Indian ancestry. My Garrison family had no such stories but that doesn't mean there isn't any. Any of the female ancestors could be all or part Indian, given the fact that the Garrisons had a habit of moving onto former Indian land very early. In the other side of my family, not Garrison, I have three Cherokee way-back grandmothers. It seems to have been more common for men who moved onto the frontier to marry Indian women than the other way around. Because all of the rumors I've heard come from Allen's line I've wondered about the Pools but have no info. Another of Zebulon's children married a brother of Francis Pool. Isham Pool married Tryphenia Garrison June 3, 1824 in Hall Co., GA. They moved to Hartville, Wright Co., MO. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
