Walker Garrison. I was born just a few years after the death of Silas III. Amanda was still a fairly young woman and of sound mind. I spent many days and nights with her and she always referred to Silas III as "MARTIN". He was also known as Martin when the family lived in "King Cove" in Lawrence County.
