Garrison (age 13) in 1860 Census, and Silas Messer Garrison III (age 11) in 1860 Census, would not have either the DNA or the DAR blood lineage to claim, if Mr. TAYLOR's adoption information is true. Mr. Taylor must have been the one who typed the extensive lineage of Silas M Garrison III, on which I found the two wives (of Silas III) names, before 3rd wife, Amanda S. Walker. It is very detailed, and certainly authentic."--- Do you have a source for the authentic lineage of Mr. Taylor? That would certainly help. I have seen this posted several times by Garrison researchers and I would like to know if there is documentation? Also, as to the "DAR problem". We certainly have some areas that are a problem. I was mistaken about the 1860 census, but I question the ages on George William and Silas the third in that census. In the 1850 census, Silas and Neme are living with his parents. There are two babies in the household, but no George William or Silas. In the 1870 census ( George)William is 20(1850) and Silas is 18 (1852). In the 1880, Silas is 28 (1852). Does anyone know if" MAN" Garrison in the 1880 census in Mount Hope, Larence county is George William? He has a Dement living in his Household. Robert G. GArrison, son of Silas Jr. and Nemecia married a Dement.---------Name: Robert G. Garrison Birth: 10 Jan 1856 - Lawrence, AL (Alabama) Death: 26 Sep 1925 - Franklin, AL (Alabama) Parents: Messer Garrison, Nema Elkins Spouse: Laura Belle Dement ----------- Thanks for your help Melissa
