    3. Garrison List; Our Haegle cousins lived in Mt. Vernon, IL. Lu Haegle married a Smith about 5 generations ago. Jemima Haegle married Joshua Jordan. Both marriages in mid 1800s. Here is what I have on Green Chesterfield Garrison b 1844 m Elizabeth Catherine Weaver b abt. 1848 Green was the son of Thomas W b 1819 and Harriet Scott b 1899 Thomas was the son of David b Sept 6, 1784 and Elizabeth Newby b 1785 David was the son of Moses b Nov 28 1737 and Milky Milcan b abt. 1740 Moses was the son of Isaac b abt. 1710 and Elizabeth Lawrence b 1712 Isaac was the son of Isaac Garrisson b 1685 in France and Jeanne Raganer b 1648 in France. I grew up in Mt. Vernon Illinois. We always thought that the 2 lines of Garrison living in the area were not related. After many years of research I came to the conclusion that the 2 lines merges at Isaac and Jeanne. Still more research has led me to believe that this is just not true and so I have stopped researching this line, but I kept all my research just in case. I hope this may be of some help.
