Very new at the genealogy quest here. I am a descendent of one of the Isaac Garrisons, Freeborn Garrison, and several others down the line from those who began the westward trend to Indiana, Ohio and points beyond. Wondering if your roots are the same or similar. It seems as if there is a "southern" movement and a gradual westward movement, as well. My grandfather, Lester Irwin Garrison settled in Kansas eventually. Currently, I am seeking information regarding a rumor that 3 Garrison brothers, probably originating from somewhere in France going the same route as many, spent about 10 years in Holland where they married 3 Dutch princesses and then continued to what likely became known as Garrison's Landing.
