Reuben was born in 1744 at Philipsburgh, NY to parents Marvel and Amy (Hammond) Garrison. He married Sarah Smith and they lived in Fishkill, NY after their marriage. On July 10, 1788 Reuben was ordained a Baptist Minister at Yorktown, NY. He was the first Pastor of the Baptist Church 1788-1802 and maybe another church 1810-1821. Reuben died Aug. 8, 1834 (not sure where). Any info on his children and his wife Sarah would be appreciated. Thank you.
