New details keep popping up.This family is rough on figuring ages out. Randy is the one most knowledgable. Try him. I'm sure he'll welcome your details. Have you Mary's death certificate or date? In the 1820 US Census in Warwick you'll find the following Census (Best guess only!) David Garrison 26 to 44 (David born 1762 Female 26 to 44 (Elizabeth born 1781 girl 15 to 24 (Mary born 1802 to 1810 girl 10 to 14 (Anne born 1808 boy under 10 (David born 1814 boy under 10 (Thomas born 1816 boy under 10 (Abram born 1807 boy under 10 ? (Isaac 20 to 29 gone) (Jacob 20 gone) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In the 1810 US Census in Monroe you'll find David Garrison 26 to 44 (David) Female 26 to 44 (Elizabeth) boy 10 to 14 (Isaac) boy under 10 (Jacob) girl under 10 (Mary) girl under 10 (Anne) Also though, in Monroe there are two other candidates with girls of the right age.Baverly Garrison and John Garrison. Baverly one girl 10 to 14 John one girl 10 to 15 one girl 16 to 25. Either one might be your family. But if she's from Greenwood Lake that is south of Monroe I think? Any details on the Civil War service of Thomas? If your Mary is part of this family I have an extensive article on the men from this family who served their country. Send me you e-mail and I'll send it to you. You can reach me at [email protected] Happy Hunting Dan C.

It does seem that David and Hannah are prime candidates for the parents of Mary. I'm puzzled though that Liz's web site does show the second daughter that you mention -- just Anna. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/mEY.2ACEB/567.574.1015.1.1.1 Message Board Post: Hello Chris I'd guess that your Mary was the daughter of David Garrison and Hannah Youmans of Warwick. I base this guess on the locations they lived during the 1840 and 1830 US Census. also in the 1820 Census David and Hannah had two daughters the right age who are gone by 1830. You might want to look at Liz Frazier's Garrison web site at http://home.shianet.org/~efrasier/Garrison.htm Or contact Randy Garrison at [email protected] Good luck and let me know how you make out. I have additional information if this is your family. Dan C.
