I bought the book at Coles Books. That has now joined the group of Smith's Books, Chapters and Indigo. I actually had to ask them to bring the book in. Joan, I have know clue as to who my ggrandfather Robert Garrison's parents were.I have found that a Reed Garrison married Jane McGee in Clinton Co.,Ohio and in 1850 census Reed was born in NJ and Jane in Va..My grandfather was also Reed which makes it possible this could be Robert's parents. Also the oldest living at home in 1850 was Mary Ann.My grandad named his first daughter Mary Ann.On Grandad Reed's funeral record it gives his father Robert's birth place as Va..Reed(the elder) with wife Jane are in Ill.1960 census where my grandad Reed was born.I just don't know how to go about proving or disproving this is Robert's parents. He married in 1847 so he would have been out of this home and I haven't found him and Susanah on and 1850 census. They were probably on their way to Ill. and missed the census. If ever I make a breakthough on this family of mine I will post it to the Garrison site. Thank you for listening, Sandra Jean Garrison Roar>Are there any Lemuel or Ann Eliza Garrison in your information? From >Clinton/Warren County, Ohio. We are descendants of Edwin's brother Ernest Love and would like to exchange information with the descendants of Edwin. Waiting to hear from anyone with information about any of these people. Hi again Joan, The 1860 Census for Vernon Twp., Clinton Co., Ohio, Family #1694 shows a Eliza Garrison age 6 living with her parents Lemuel and Sabie, and her 13 year old siblings Andrew and Sarah. If this is your Ann Eliza, I have much information on the ancestors of Lemuel. Although many of the Clinton County Ohio Garrisons went to Peoria County, Illinois, I have been unable to find a connection with the Reed Garrison who was born there in 1852. Reed and family moved to Blackford County, Indiana. Phyllis--Thanks you for your comment on Susannah Morgan and the reference to Edward Morgan data. I've seen documents that show the Howells of Wales are descended ultimately from "a cousin of the Virgin Mary," and I'm sure the Morgans have an equally illustrious descent. :-) Lew
Look like there is some DNA interest! I'm not able to coordinate this project but maybe someone on the list will step forward, at some point in time? If anyone is interesting in learning more about DNA testing you may want to subscribe to the GENEALOGY-DNA mailing list... http://lists.rootsweb.com/index/other/DNA/GENEALOGY-DNA.html Gynon

Hello Gynon, I would be interested, although I am a female Garrison descendant. However, I do have a male(cousin) from this line who I might persuade..........Gina (Orange & Rockland county, NY Garrisons)
Gynon and Stacey and all. Our Jordan kin (just the male descendants) have worked on a DNA project. Have you read the "Seven Daughters of Eve" which goes into the female lines?? Supposed to be good research but I'm not a scientist so I can neither prove nor disprove it. Daphne N.
