    1. [GARRIGAN] intro + Pittsburgh Garrigans
    2. Walda Cameron
    3. Hi-- My name is Walda Cameron, my mother's name was Mary Mildred Dolores Garrigan. Her father was Joseph Garrigan, his father was James, who fought in the Civil War. James's wife was Ellen Monaghan. Jos., James, and Ellen are all buried in Clavary Cemetery in Allegheny Cty, PA. All these folks were living in Pittsburgh during the mid-1800s to the early 1900s. I have been researching this arm of my family via the Internet with little success. Any information anyone may have about these people or any guidance on where to search would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much. Walda camfam@frontiernet.net

    3. Hi Walda, I have done some research on the Garrigan's, also on the internet. We may have a connection. I have info on the 1850 NY federal census Allegany Co, Town of Birdsall. Father Thomas Garrigan, wife, Catherine, born Ireland, son James born Canada 1836, son Thomas, born 1841 in Pa, and Michael born in March 1850 in New York. So this may be the same family. They obviously moved around, I really do not have time right now, but will write in the near future, sometime this weekend. Good to hear from you.
