Was Nellie married to John S. Garrard? Was Vestie married? I have a listing for the graves at Kennemer Baptist Cemetery and have been there, but don't recall seeing a Vestie. Was she married? Buried next to Nellie S. Garrard is Jennie Pickett Tripp, who was a Shaw by birth. She was a daughter to Christopher Columbus Shaw (who was an older brother of Peter S. Shaw and an uncle of Peter Selver Shaw). I have the mother of Rosabell Lynn Shaw listed as Rebecca H. Lynn, who was the daughter of William Harb Linn and Rebecca Kirkland Linn of Monroe Co., Tenn. Can you tell me when Rosabell died? I do not have a father listed for her, either, and I have her estimated date of birth around 1902. I have been to Flat Rock, having visited Ethel Shaw Welden, a great-great aunt to my kids. Her husband was George Welden; Ethel died this past January. Any help you can provide would be great.
