I will try to get in touch with Dewitt, I met him years ago at his mother's house. Ethel was one of the sweetest persons around, and what a cook! I recall going to her house, and her brother Joe still lived with her. Funny guy, but feisty as all get-out. My kids are the great-grandchildren of Ethel's older sister, Blanche Marie (Shaw) Hannah, who was born in Flat Rock but lived a good portion of her life in Chattanooga. I am sure you either knew or knew of their sisters, Bessie Minor and Christie Cora Lee Welden, plus Harvey (Buck) Shaw, their brother. Ethel's parents, John Henry and Florence (Lynn) Shaw, are buried near the Garrards, next to Edna Garrard if this chart I have is correct. Two more Garrard questions for you: Is Peter M. Garrard a brother to George A. Garrard, and who are John Allen Garrard and Mary Ann Oyler Garrard (parents of George and Peter, perhaps?) Thanks for all of your help. Bob
