His parents were Thomas Collins Garrard and Eleanor Olley. He was married to Lily ?? who died at the birth of their son Charles Garrard. This would have been during the mid to late 1880's. I understand George left England soon after and went to live in America leaving his son Charles with his sister Sarah Garrard.
