Hi Cincinnati Terry: I don't know a thing about a L-Garrard site on the net. I, also, will not have my family information anywhere on the net. Yes, people take your information and sell it. I have cousins who think differently. They want their information out there and they don't care who takes it. I figure it should be of no interest to anyone other than a family member. I can make a private email site for us on Smartgroups, if you'd like. Then y'all would feel more at ease in sharing family information in email since nobody but members can read the archives and members are by invitation only. Let me know what you think? I have nothing against people publishing family history books. I've bought some myself and have actually contributed to one I don't have yet. It takes a lot of time and research to produce a GOOD family genealogy book. We have one for our Maupin family we call the Maupin bible. It's a great reference book. Take care, Cousin Sandi Carter Frazier Park, California "On the Hill"
Sandi, If that email site comes about, please let me know. I'd love to be a part of it.
