Sandi and all, I think, for the sake of privacy, people should not send me their street addresses over this list. I intend to email each subscriber to the former MyFamily.com Garrard site to: 1. explain what will be on the CD, 2. ask if they are interested in a copy of the CD, 3. confirm the street address on file for them, and 4. solicit updates, if required. Again, for the sake of privacy, I think these CDs should only be offered to people who were subscribers to the MyFamily.com Garrard site. That way we are not making a subscriber's personal information or the family data they contributed available to anyone they did not publish it to themselves. I think that if we want to offer a CD from the MyFamily.com Garrard site to the Garrard-L subscribers we have to remove all personal information and get permission from each contributor to publish their family data to members of the list. I don't see that anyone would deny permission, but they should be asked. I'd be willing to undertake the task of producing a second CD, but after we've completed the present one (i. e., getting copies of what was on the MyFamily.com site to it's participants). If we get to that point, I would announce to the list what would be on the CD and how much it would cost and, I would ask people to send me the money with their shipping address. Terry
