Sandi et al. Thanks for your interest. I married William Joseph Canavan [b. 1 May 1935 Boston MA.] in Sausalito CA on 22 June 1963. We celebrate 40 years next week. Bill was USAF fighter pilot and I was a teacher, both of us in Marin Co. CA. We have two children: Matthew is married to Laura Westman and they have twin boys, nearly 3. They live in Petaluma CA where my maternal grandmother was born in 1869.* Kristin is a computer graphic artist in San Francisco. I was born 8 Jan 1937 in Oakdale, Stanislaus Co. CA. All of my 8 grandparents and 3 of my great grandparents were in CA by 1867. Sue Rydberg Canavan in Santa Rosa CA * I am curious. I seem to have grandparents born long before most of my contemporaries. Can anyone top this? My grandfather, Charles Chesley Stevinson, was born in MO in 1859.
