Sue: I must say I've been thrilled working with James Welch in regard to my Sidney M. Williams & Margaret Toulmin Garrard section of the family! Thank you so much for nudging me into doing so! His greatest find was telling me that Margaret married Jefferson Parker after Sidney died. I nearly fell over when I read that as he solved a big mystery for me. In the Half Moon Ranch family plot, north of Verden, Grady CO, Oklahoma, once owned by William Garrard Williams, are the graves of Jefferson Parker and Margaret T. Parker. Margaret T. Parker is Margaret Toulmin [Garrard] Williams Parker! I can't believe any of my old family never mentioned that and my Mother said the same when I told her. Margaret was not in Clay County in the 1870 census and we didn't know where she went. Thought she might have moved to another county in Kentucky. I've been to the Half Moon Ranch family plot a number of times and it never occured to me that Margaret T. Parker, had I checked her date of birth against what I have, was my GGG grandmother! WOW!
