I am on Overload with wondrous Holiday stuff. Please email me again after Christmas. I am eager to share my extensive family research. I have documented chronologies which often include clues and identified unproven data. The most thorough is for Daniel Garrard but I also have lots on James, T.T.and Eliza Anne Garrard, Daniel's oldest child and my grgrgrgrandmother. Also quite a bit on Hon. Harry Toulmin, who should not be ignored as a major contributor to our family. Quite a bit, also on collateral families. Glad to have you aboard on the Genealogical Journey. To Ralph Bowling: Bertram Stivers himself told us that the house he lived in was built by Daniel Garrard in 1834. It is in Greenbriar just 3 miles from Manchester. The home that my father, his father and the Gen. T. T. Garrard lived in was sold by them and on to 2 or 3 others and those people we talked to in 1989. The house was torn down and Daniel Boone Parkway was built through there. The people that had last lived there built a house down below from the highway and we visited with the lady. She gave us some of the brick that came from the house. I have a list somewhere of the times it was sold. But that was Gen Theophulis Toulmin Garrard's house. The one Bertram Stivers lived in was Daniel's and Daniel was Theophulis Toulmin's father. Sincerely yours Harold Edward Garrard ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bill & Sue Canavan" <canavania@earthlink.net> To: <GARRARD-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, December 15, 2004 11 :41 AM Subject: [GARRARD] Re: Garrad Family WELCOME, Ralph > I am on Overload with wondrous Holiday stuff.
