According to the will I have for Amelia there is enough proof for me to say she is Luther's mother. Along with the copies of the court records sent to me there was a copy of an affidavit showing that Nathan Brawner was appointed guardian of Amelia's older daughters. This Brawner is probably the husband of Emelia after her first husband died. He is appointed guardain to her four daughters,Elizabeth, Amelia, Lydia and Sophia, there may have been other Langley children that were older and did not need an appointed guardian. Still do not know if Nancy was from her first family or was born a Brawner. Would love to have any info anyone is willing to share. Sug
