    2. Hi Sue, Bet you have been snowed in a lot this winter in those Calif. mountains. As I have posted on here before, I am still trying to find someone that knows how to transfer my 15 years of work on the update of Anna Russell des Cognets 1898 book. I need someone that can transfer a Pentuim 1, 16 mag, window 95 program to this crappy new XP. The software out there now only works for 64 mag. transfer. I don't know if it is just us but we find this XP software so much harder to use. We can't get the screens to open up all the way anymore, (we can't get them to drag up all the way), and when you drop a screen to the bottom it get buried and hard to find. Sue until I find a way to get my files on this new computer I can't help any of you from my file of 58,000 pages on the Garrard lines. I can look at the files on the old computer but do to lack of memory I cannot cut, paste or send info anymore. I can't move my movie script of the Garrard - Baker vs. White - Howard feud to XP either. Terry Lee Garrard Sr.

Hi Terry: I think you are talking about moi, Sandi, who has been snowed in up here in the California mountains. Had more snow this morning and then rain all day. I hope some cousin on this list can help you with your puter problems. Has anyone heard from Sug Fitzner? Her email from this list keeps bouncing back to me. I hope she is okay! Best, Cousin Sandi

    3. Dear Ter, thanks for inquiry. We did see some powder on earby mountain peaks once in Jan. We are back in the rainy season now, after a week of summer. Skipped spring, though blossoms are everywhere trying to keep their heads up in the downpour. I can't help you with cyberspace problems but surely all that work can't go un used so I hope you find transferable technology soon. We have Computer Tutors here to help with problems and suggest strategies. Have you any like that? The High School or College Computer Program staff may be able to give suggestions and or lend equipment.
