    3. In my Garrard side, my great-grandfather was John Garrard, married to Sopriano (full blood Indian) for which he was disowned for a while from the family. I have a copy of the town registrar that lists all of them and their occupations. My grandfather was his son John Dudley Garrard born in the late 1870's. At the age of 10, my grandfather was listed as a farmer.Sorry - my paperwork is at home. John D Garrard married my grandmother Mary Myrtle Bryan in 1914. He already had 4 children and he and my grandmother had 10 children together. I have had little time to research, but a local cousin is bringing me a book on the Garrard family that goes back to our family marrying into the Lincoln family, John Q. Adams family, being in business with George Washington, etc. I can't wait to get it and learn more and share with you all. Thanks, Dana Strong sherrygrey@aol.com wrote: This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list.
