James Welch has finished this book on 27 of the old Clay County, Kentucky families, our Garrard�s included. Our section will be about 1/3 of the book. I think this book will be well worth buying. He will have 90 copies, oops, 89 since I have dibs on one <LOL> for sale. The book will have clear vinyl covers and is 304 pages with the Garrard section of 31 pages plus 28 pages of photos, 32 pages of interviews, 4 pages of maps of KY, OK, TX and CA. The Price section has 10 pages with 3 pages of pictures. The Burchell section has 6 pages and the Black section has 4 pages for total of 115 pages of Garrard relatives. The cost of the book is $34.00, which includes mailing. If you live in KY please add $180 for sales tax.. The book should be available by 15 June 2004.
