I sent the message that I would burn a CD of Garrards if I could figure it out. I also said I would try to learn how to do it sometime in July. Another Sue has responded who seems to be able to burn a CD. I say let her do this. I can send her all my data to add to it. I can't do anything until after the 3rd of July but tell me what to do. Dear Gloria and all, I love the idea of our sharing data on CD and though we have the capability I am still technically challenged. When I return from our New England Tour on 2 July I will consider learning how to do this sometime this summer. Meanwhile, starting on that date, ask me to email any of the data I have listed. It would be a WORD attachment or if I am clever it will go straight to you without attachment. Gloria Skeens and Jennie Hall compiled a partial listing of cemetery inscriptions from the Garrard Cemetery in Manchester. I received a copy in Oct. 1999. Kathy Bowling has also compiled a partial list. Some of hers overlaps with Gloria's but together they are a wonderful source for what I understand is a very overgrown and nearly inaccessible site. I am grateful to them and hope they put all this data somewhere safe on the internet ie Clay Co. KY Genweb if it is still there and safe.
